Judge seeks court order against own boss
Superior Court Judge DeAnn Salcido, in a highly unusual move, said Friday she is seeking a court order against her boss and colleagues on the bench, contending they are not following state law in imposing probation conditions for domestic violence defendants. Ref. Source 7
If a plea bargain is being made both the prosecutor and the defense make concessions for the best out come. If that is different than what this judge feels is correct then many will not enter plea agreements and that could cause more criminals to not ever be charged because of lack of evidence and the possibility of them getting off totally. That I feel would put more dangerous people back on the streets and cause more problems for all. This Judge needs to let the plea agreements to continue so we can get some other more violent offenders off the streets.
Judge Salcido to resign after public censure
