Am I the only one with the pre-historical dial up thing in here? |
ADSL is a kind of or part of or type of DSL where the uploading and downloading speeds differ. There are also others like SDSL, HDSL, etc. ADSL is a broadband connection technology which uses the phone line with speeds 40x faster than a modem. Wish I had that :
ur not alone anymore lds we can both gripe about the pitfalls of dial up and our favourite internet service provider TSTT.. :s.lol...yup i have dial up at home dsl in work..dsl has spoilt me..lol..now i hate goin home and havin to dial into tstt...so most days i dont even go online cause im always gettin some error or the other when tryin to connect...
I use dial up at home ... and at work we have a T1 connection, so I am sooooo spoiled! Things at home that take 5 minutes take just a few seconds at work.
One of these days, I'll get DSL of some kind.... when they drop the price below $30 a month. Right now it's $50!! can you believe it??
Roz... (on slooooowwww dial up today !)

Imagine in Trinidad a simple DSL connection costs TT$640.00 per month for home use, that works out to be about US$110.00 per month! Now, who said there isn't modern day bandits in white shirts and ties?
