I spend about 4-6 hours on a typical day. On the weekends I have been known to spend about 10 hours a day. I spend most of my time here. But I do surf the news websites, chatting with friends on an instant messenger, and sometimes I get drafted to help with research on the net for school projects for my sister in law. :)
IF you believe it...
Teens spend an average of 303 minutes online per month, compared with the adult average of 728 minutes per month, according to Media Metrix research for June 2002.
not only do I not really buy that...but 2002..thats kind of out-of-date.
So how does that 303 minutes number compare with how much time you think you spend online? . I spend about 2 to 3 hours online every day
at the moment i spend 11-15 hours online! my day job involves the internet and my girlfriend has just flown to moscow for 3 weeks so i'm surfin as soon as i get home as well. I spend a lot of time at my own forum and i also like online games, i just found one over the weekend and have become kind of addicted to it - https://www.globulos.com. it's just as well there isn't an internet terminal in my local pub otherwise i would be on 16-20 hours :-)
I spend about 8 hours a day during the week and maybe 1-2 on weekends.
XtraSweet, your statistics would seem to be accurate based upon what is being reported here. It looks like most of the adults are reporting more time than you are. I think the numbers are low, but it looks like adults may spend more time on-line. Think about it, we don't have soccer games, high school dances, homework, and stuff like that to get in the way of our surfing. Plus, for a lot of us, our jobs involve time on-line conducting research or downloading software, etc.
