Brian Williams is Glenn on roids?
Glenn was pleasantly surprised when he heard the clip of NBC anchorman Brian Williams during an appearance on the David Letterman show. It is like someone who is 10 times as concerned as Glenn is on where things are headed. Glenn plays the audio on radio today. Ref. Source 7

"NBC Nightly News" Anchor Brian Williams says he has "Decided to take myself off of my daily broadcast for the next several days" Amid questions over claims to have been under fire in Iraq.
He added in a statement posted on nbcnews.com that "It has become painfully apparent to me that I am presently too much a part of the news, due to my actions.
Williams, the anchor of "NBC Nightly News," Apologized on Wednesday for claiming -- as recently as last week -- that in the early stages of the Iraq War he'd been on a helicopter that was "Forced down after being hit by an Role-playing Game ."
Stars and Stripes reported on Wednesday that "Williams arrived in the area about an hour later on another helicopter," One that "Took no fire and landed later beside the damaged helicopter due to an impending sandstorm from the Iraqi desert."
Williams blamed the differing accounts on a foggy memory. Ref. CNN
Brian Williams has been suspended for six months without pay following revelations that he exaggerated tales from an Iraq War mission in 2003.
NBC News President Deborah Turness informed staffers of the network's decision at a meeting shortly after Williams' fill-in, Lester Holt, finished anchoring Tuesday's "NBC Nightly News."
"The suspension will be without pay and is effective immediately," Turness wrote. "We let Brian know of our decision earlier today. Lester Holt will continue to substitute Anchor the NBC Nightly News." Ref. CNN
He probably wasn't the only one but why bring this up now more than a decade later? Strange. It also makes you consider the next time you watch a story if it hasn't been exaggerated a little or a lot!
