Northland Missouri Temple
Ground will be broken today for the second Mormon temple in Missouri. Church elders will gather in an undeveloped plot in Kansas City, North, for the ceremonies. The officials will unveil an artist's rendering of the temple. Mormon temples often are grand in scale and clad in white stone. The planned 32,000-square-foot facility probably will make the Kansas City area's 25,000 church members more visible, said Donald Deshler, a church elder from Overland Park. Ref. Source 4
