Wonderful! Wonderful! I have been asking for this for a VERY long time. There are inmates who do not seem to rehabilitate and leaving them free is just an open door for them to strike again.

I have always wondered why they don't castrate the more violent or repeat offenders. In all seriousness if they cannot get aroused in that way it may help the situation. I have heard of pedophiles taking shots that introduce some chemical like estrogen I think to remove their sexual desires, so that they can get out of prison early.
Yes I do think that repeat offenders should be kept in indefinitly. It is the kind of crime that spreads like a fire if not stomped out right away. There is no room for playing around here. Edited: Oliron on 17th May, 2010 - 5:51pm

Comments: OK fine so they keep them in prison but what about if they're innocent and what about if they're reformed?
With DNA evidence the amount of innocent people put in jail for these crimes is reduced greatly, I see your point though. I am talking about repeat offenders or those who are unable to reform for some reason.

I agree with Oliron. Repeat offenders come to my mind and those with very violent repeat offenses. We cannot risk the safety of our children and ourselves knowing that these people will leave jail and strike within days.
