Well, I do know that people will stop seeing movies for names that they dislike for their behaviour/charges/etc. For example, I and a lot of my family now refuse to watch anything with Mel Gibson in it, because of his horrible rants against his daughter and Jewish people. He begs forgiveness, then does it again, so it's not a momentary idiocy, therefore we don't watch his portfolio. Mind you, in Dustin Hoffman's case, it was single incident, with no charges, many decades ago, so it's kind of weird. Unlike Weinstein, who was a regular sexual predator/abuser, Hoffman is far less of a reprehensible human being,as far as we know today.
