A five-year-old boy and three-week-old baby were sleeping in a car while, police allege, their mother was at a party 50 metres away at a Wiri house in an "extremely intoxicated state". Ref. Source 9

I am glad that these kids were taken away. I shudder to think of the fate that was in store for these two as the mother would have tried to drive home in such a state she was in.
