Unemployment has increased by 0.6 percentage points to 9.3 per cent from a year ago, according to a labour force survey published by Statistics Finland on Tuesday. The biggest percentage change was for the young, between the ages of 15 and 24, whose unemployment rose by 2.9 percentage point from last year. Men's unemployment increased compared to last year while the unemployment rate for women remained at around the same level. Source: Helsinki Times
