NFL owners voted Tuesday to put the 2014 Super Bowl in the new $1.6 billion Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey. It's the first time the league has gone to a cold weather site that doesn't have a dome and, until now, those places couldn't even bid on the big game. The league made an exception for the New York area, and New York only.

I am not sure I agree with the leagues discission to place the super bowl in a outdoor stadium in the North. The January weather should be cold and possible snow. I can see the game being called for a blizzard. I think they should keep the game to a dome or outdoor venue that is in a warmer state. Just my opinion.
