Recognizing the heroism of soldiers who make the ultimate sacrifice to save others in times of calamities, a non-government foundation has awarded housing units to families of Army troops and Citizen Armed Force Geographical Unit (CAFGU) members who perished while rescuing flood victims during the onslaught of tropical storm "Ondoy" in 2009.
