Do you ever feel like someone is whispering to you and when you hear it you look over your shoulder but no one is there?

Not very often I experience this but the whispering is indecipherable.

I don't think this will help you understand your condition, but I used to hear many voices talking at once when I was a child. About 10 - 20 voices were all whispering at once in my head, is the best I can describe it.

Now, sometimes I feel like there is a presence standing by me, like a person standing next to me. Though I no longer hear any kind of voice(s).

I wish I could help you but the only thing I can think to say is I have been threw something similar.

Rather off topic, but...
Beyond that I remember staring at someone across the street, from a car. The person stopped what they were doing and looked up directly at me, as if they felt me looking at them. Other similar things like this have happened to me, and people I know often.

I have been diagnosed with Schitzo-affective-Disorder.
But as a practicing Shaman, all it means is that I don't need Narcotics to Journey.

I have not been here in awhile but this caught my eye. So you're saying that what you have been diagnosed with is actually a means for paranormal communication? That's a cool way to look at it. Makes me think of other people that have 'disorders' when all it might be is a different level of sensitivity.

I see it as a window to a wider Perception of Consciousness.
To me it is a Blessing, but it is not easy to root yourself to the Ground.
