If this occurs when asleep or waking up from or going to sleep, this is likely a hypnogogic or hypnopompic hallucination, and possibly of sleep paralysis, and is a natural and documented condition - these seem to be genetic in most cases but may also be related to stress and may occur spontaneously, and may or may not occur more than once in a person.
Thanks for answering Harkon.
Jpatt I understand what you mean but what about when you're fully awake.
The important thing is to listen carefully to the whispering. Does it have a pattern? What is being said?
Sometimes no, it can be as random as your dreams. And just as dreams can be a reflection of your subconscious, voices and other perceived stimulus can have a profound meaning and message. They can be regressions into the past, even past lives; accounts of the present or even predictions of the future. Trouble is - knowing the meaning and message at the time. An objective reader of his delusions is very rare.

Comments: I have had this sort of thing happen to me before but more like a de ja vue where I know I've heard someone say that before but it like someone is whispering it to me again.
