:spock: Microsoft as usual poking their nose where it does not belong! Recently I noticed a crawler nosing around my forum. I could not believe the bandwidth it must have been burning looking around. After doing some research I realized it was a MS product under testing, but to me that is a serious privacy (security) threat! Have you had any encounters with this?

Doing some more sniffing led me to their web site: https://www.alltheweb.com which is a search engine. I guess they are trying to 'reproduce' google, but they are going about it the wrong way.

wow this is crazy .. i did a search @ that site and found  2,251 related links to this site... even some protected link pages...

Evil is an understatement - it is a driect violation of online privacy and is piracy as far as I am concerned. You would be well advised to not submit to this search engine or make sure to bloack the 5 IP numbers they use.
