Wolter will take the dagger and hold it. He will concentrate and then ask the question. Is the ship approaching us friend or foe?

This is an artifact for any to use. It will hopefully move the game and story line along when you get stuck or bored or perhaps missed something I didn't make obvious enough or that just got skimmed over. However it has its costs. smile.gif enjoy

Yeah I thought it may be some type of artifact. I know that Wolter will not touch it again if he has the choice.

Feroz sees this all happen and hears what is said. He follows Wolter and tries to comfort him knowing things of such magical nature take their tole. Closed off by Wolter's need to regroup himself Feroz waits for him to return, while contemplating the information.

Oliron just been wondering where is your psi crystal and familiar have been hidding this whole time? If they are not close to you there are a few benifits you might not get.

Well I carry both of them with me, unless I tell them otherwise. I just figure the toad is in my pocket or something and the crystal is as well for the most part, in public. To be honest I had completely forgotten about them until you just mentioned them.

So had I until I was reading up something on the wizard,

You can write the spells you have prepared back into your book, it will cost 50 gp and 24 hours per spell, these prices are reduced since you helped these people.

Also as for your repeating crossbow you shouldn't be proficient with it so I ill say when you first got on board the gnome borrowed yours and modified it with counter weights and some extra strings and pulleys, and nic naks here and there so while now heavier works as tho you are proficient with it.

These were for trial only but the captain has arranged for you to keep one of them as your reward.

If some one proficient with the repeating crossbow used it they would gain bonuses.

I didn't realize that, I would just take the penalties to it and have to use a feat to be proficient with it, if you want.

Also I wanted to address Feroz's lack of grasping the plot. His race is more of a flighty Kender sort of race. He honestly simply does not grasp the plots of life and is stuck in the moment of everything. Thus his unwanted arcane affinity but acceptance of it.

Being a mage takes a huge amount of time studying and such but his race is rally more about the moment. So he is stuck at some desk studying and realizes he needs to get out of here and see the world. Feroz really is just living for the moment whenever he can. He has a real short attention span when it comes to unraveling things in reality.

A bird is a bird and a fish is a fish, that sort of thing, he doesn't get the symbolism or deeper meanings.

He has moments were he can step outside of this but mostly think very analytically.
