Travellin Bo Introduction

Maybe someone can help a newbie here...me. Moving to T&T imminently for a couple of years for work and bringing my family over in August. I need to find a school for my son....he's 5 in October. Problem is English is not his first language (his mum is Polish and he's lived in Warsaw all his short life) so he's going to need extra help for the first few months until he's up to speed.

I've had St.Andrews Private School, Maraval, recommended....but I can't find any web site for the school. Can anyone give me a view on the school, what it's like, whether it will indeed be able to help in this case...and a URL!

Thanks people.

Hi, welcome. The schooling issue won't be a problem if you are willing to pay big bucks and send him to the International School of Port of Spain (extremely expensive) who will surely accept him. Other than that, the other schools will probably give you a hard time because of the language issue. I know because at the moment I am trying to help a guy in a similar situation (his kids do not speak English and they are coming to Trinidad next month). So far, he hasn't been lucky.

St. Andrews is a great primary school but not sure if they would accept him. This is a thread with a review:

Another great school is Dunross. You can try those three.
