Wolter cleans the lower hull and checks the animals, they are unsettled but fine, unfortunately from the dwarf he gets only a grunt and one or two words in dwarven but thats about it,
Feroz tries his best at calming the captain but seems to make the situation worse, the captain is on the verge of shooting Feroz or blowing his own brains out with the flintlock pistol when eventually one of the twin dancers intervenes.
Appearing quite experienced at this she controls the situation knowing what to say and when, and with a soft voice and gentle questions she has him reflect upon the situation and in no time he is an unarmed quivering mess being escorted back to his room.
.......
A couple of hours later he returns still looking a mess but slightly more sober, he requests that the dead be respectfully and gracefully brought to the deck with their most precious items for a true sea funeral also that the goblin kind be striped of all possessions and tossed overboard.
(let me know your actions during this time)
All goes fairly smoothly, (not all aboard are being helpful) until the confusion arises as Balto gets brought up to the deck twice and all are in shock of him having an identical twin on board that no one new about (the halflings) and that both of them are missing a finger, another mystery to follow them is the small ornate chest thats needing some sort of key found near the bodies.
Wolter will assist with the hauling the bodies up and getting all the valuables and other usable items off the goblins and others that were killed in the attack. He will also check to see if he can find those rings if he has a chance.
Wolter will make a double check of all holds and compartments he can see to make sure nothing is stuffed in a corner or small cranny that may have been over looked.
Wolter will find a moment to slip into Dorian/the gnomes room and find those rings still on the fingers. They had fallen behind the cupboard. 2x ring of chameleon.
As the sun sets whats left of the band plays a farewell tune, the icy breeze and unsteady sea seem almost too eager to take the bodies of the recently deceased as they are put into the last life boat and hear their last farewells, sadly mostly from strangers.
The captain places the last body in, as tears stream down his face, unknown to all its clear there was somebody on the ship close to him. As he steps away and regains his posture you see its the half elf waitress.
Once the boat is lowered and drifts off a flaming arrow sets the whole thing alight in massive flames. The whole scene is a sight to behold, but still doesn't seem right.
One by one the small crowd disperses to their rooms for the night, but the captain stands like a statue seemingly never going to move...
Feroz comes up for some night sea breeze air and see the captain. He makes his way slowly over to him, then next to him, both looking out over the side of the ship into the sea.
"My people live very short lives, much shorter than humans, so we try to live it to the fullest while we are here. I think you loved this woman very much, you must have lived that love to its fullest. I take pride and joy in a love lived to it's fullest, in whatever form.", Feroz takes a full breathe and sighs not knowing how to help the grieving man, then leaves him alone with the black cold water and his memories.

"She was my sister" The captain replies to Feroz as he walks away, "and I was unable to protect her!"
"I must now finish what she started by finding her father and bringing down the dark fire guild" he then turns and looks at Feroz " I will not forget what you did for us, even if it was also for yourselves, you will be rewarded."
Wolter will slip the rings into his pouch and head to the bow of the ship. HE will stand there staring out at the sea as the night passes. He will reflect back upon what has happened this day and wonder if there was some other way they could have done things so less innocent lives were taken from this world.
A few days pass uneventfully if no one dose anything specific,
Every one has to pitch in to help. The ride has become rough and there is surprisingly a lot of work to do.
One misty morning you notice another ships mast in the distance and the moving glow of lanterns shuffling around on board.
This new ship is approaching from the rear left and will have caught up by mid day, well so the captain assumes. The new ship seems slightly larger than the one you are on.
