Wolter sheild bashes the gnoll then turns and goes for an axe on the floor,
It almost sounds like the gnoll told you to "scream and beg" before the heavy flail sweeps your legs out from underneath you. The axe is almost in your grasp but then a crushing pain to the back of your head retires you to utter darkness.
Feroz misses
The archers again fire at Feroz, once again poorly, they both miss.
Then a magic missile catches him square in the face and he drops to the floor passing out from the impact and pain...

You open your eyes and you are alone in a void of darnkness so dark you cannot even see yourself, your weight feels as tho you are under water but there is no sensation or anything against your skin, If you will it, you float up and all feels warmer and peacefull and a light grows in the distance, but if you try to move down it takes more then will, you must swim and claw your way and as you do your body will ache more and more.
Feroz swims down, he is pretty sure he is dead. Swimming down bringing more sensation to his body. Also he has heard about this light and he remembers correctly he is supposed to stay away from it, or was he supposed to go into it.
Feroz can't make up his mind so he continues downward.
Wolter will float in what he hopes is a downward direction to the place where pain is. Hoping that he can remain alive long enough to get what he needs from this life. He knows he is still alive as the pain tells him that. He will attempt that hard painful sensation of opening his eyes.
As you go further down, reconnecting and aching, you begin to hear background noises, its busy, common, perhaps someone bartering then the clinging of coins.
Your body is exhausted and aches all over, your stomach and lungs burn from starvation and suffocation, you feel the effects of dehydration, lips cracking, skin tight, certain wounds burn of infection, you have been gone for some time.
But then as a large brutish presence lifts your torso from the ground you awaken to yourself and manage to open your eyes.
Your eyes open long enough to see a twisted piece of metal, glowing red, burning, come at your chest. Instantly the flesh beneath it Burns as it melts and bubbles, hissing as they press it in deeper. The pain is unbearable, but dosen't last long as shortly you are out again.
Days pass, slipping in and out, on the sparse occasion bits of bread get shoved down your throat, and water splashed across your face. You are being transported, Its the sudden bumps in the road that keep you awake. Alls the while you feel that warm light place is right behind you waiting if you only let yourself go.
Then when you realize the traveling has stopped for quite some time and you force yourself awake you find yourself cramped in a small cage, 5ft by 5ft, hands and feet bound by rope.
You are both amongst a row of cages, with people/creatures in simular conditions or worse.
You hear the uncivilized slurping and groaning of creatures gorging themselves on food from right infront of you, pressed across the front of your cage is a large wooden trough, with many a dirty boars eating from it.
A wet slimy gruel splashes out into your cage.
Looking beyond that, vision still hazy, you would guess this is some sort of orc encampment, littered with simple tents and animal pens, some poorly made stone buildings, blood sand and grime everywhere, flies galore.
While noises of the like of grinding stone sharpening metal, the banging of a forge and the constant roars followed hy the lound clanging of steel clashing with steel.
But despite that and the many orcish and goblinoid creatures you have seen all manner of races walk through this place bringing the shadiest characters of their kind.
Creating a hustling commotion marketplace enviroment to this stink hole in the harshness of the desert.
Wolter soon realizes he is missing half a hand (the hand that had the ring on it) leaving only 2 stumps of fingers and a thumb.
You are both heavily fatigued still.
Feroz does nothing that would draw any attention to himself. He pretends to be asleep when he is awake, staying as small looking as possible in the cage.
Feroz crumbled and broken listens in on whats being said. He tries to ask Wolter when no one is looking some basic questions.
Where are we, do you have any plans on how to escape, the usual.
Wolter lays there taking it all in as he tries to think of a way to get out of all of this. With no weapons and no armour this is going to be a rough time. He will ask Feroz if he has any tricks up his sleeves that can possibly help them.
