War Of The Gods - Game - Page 23

Feroz mumbles something about passing threw time and space to another dimension, then realizes how crazy he must sound. After a few short chuckles to himself he tries his best to focus his eyes on Wolter and answer him.

Feroz checks the space of the cage bars and examines its composition closer. He attempts to free himself from his bindings. All the while staying as cautious as possible.

"Sorry Wolter, without my book I have little power or ability. I feel like if I could get my strength up I might be able to slip us out of here. Though I have never tried the technique before and there is no telling how dangerous it would be. I need more strength and its a long shot, but that's all I got. How about you, any ideas?"

Without his hat of disguise Feroz no longer appears to be an old man with fish eyes. Feroz now looks like a young short human male. He has long black hair and no longer is sporting the eyes of a fish.

Feroz looks around to make sure no one is looking or listening in. He whispers, "There is one more thing, I might be able to disrupt the particles of these bars with my mind. I am weak but I might be able to muster it. You will have to untie me once I'm free and I could probably do the same to your bars, then untie you."

Wolter looks over at him and says be patient a bit. Lets see if we have a place we can get to to make good our escape first.

Wolter will move about his cage watching what is going on around them. He will watch the guards and see how they do their rounds and see if there is any time that they could possibly have time to make good their escape. He will watch when they feed the animals and how much food and drink they give them. Is it at a regular or infrequent basis. Where are they getting the food and water from. What all types of creatures are there. What type of weapons and armor are they wearing. IS there a storage of sorts for weapons and armor. Wolter will try to get answers for all that is going on around him. IF they are to escape they need to make sure they can arm and protect themselves and acquire food. He will explain this to Feroz too in a quiet voice while no one is around. This way with two people looking maybe one can see something the other one can not.

Feroz nods in agreement and takes a look around as well. Two sets of eyes are better than one, he thinks to himself. Then wonders, hasn't he heard that saying before somewhere? In some other time and place.

Feroz finds himself drifting in and out of reality. He finds himself back in his home town far below the surface. Before him sits his master, they are both meditating. His master opens his eyes, (they look like the eyes of a fish) and sees Feroz, across from him, has stopped meditating.

"What is troubling you?", the old man asks.

Feroz responds, "I am afraid for you, I think someone may have told me your dead."

The old man responds evenly, "There is no need to fear, I will always be with you, here."

Feroz snaps back into reality. He thinks, shouldn't he have said I will always be here with you, .. ?

He tries to stay awake and thinks he hears Wolter whispering something. The sound only comforts him and Feroz drifts back to black.

Wolter will attempt to talk to the others in a hushed tone to see what they can tel us about the situation we are in. I presume they took all of our money, Equipment, armour and weapons?

The human eventually replies to Wolter, his voice frantic and pitch wavey.

"He no longer cares if we die anymore, he still makes money off the corpse's and they are less trouble, otherwise once every 15days a cart comes for the women and weak, Once every 20 for the strong men. If a passer fancies you, he may buy you if the master is in a good mood. Either way its slavery, in the mines or the pit. If you want to live long enough to serve I suggest you sample the boars fine mess."
He then softly chuckles to himself, for a very long time...

The dwarf who was seemingly listening just grunts, and bows his head in prayer.

Feroz, feeling better after his power nap, looks over at the dwarf, "What, don't I know you?" Feroz's black eyes show a new pale film.

"My name is Feroz, what is yours?"

He wonders where his toad (Thor) has gotten to. His psi crystal spider friend also seems to not be near. He tries to focus on them and gain communication.

He tries to snag some food when the troll feeds the boars.

Feroz asks, "Wolter do you think you could charm these beasts like you dogs?

The dwarf seems uninterested until feroz casts sustenance upon himself, even tho he succesfully withheld any noticable display it was at this time the dwarf stop from his prayer and gave Feroz a very strange displeased, unhappy look.

Feroz fails to slip free of the bindings, but dose overhear a half orc that wants to crush his skull "Another Xeph, two in one day, wish I could go in there and show him" He mutters things of this nature for a while craking his knuckles untill the bug bears stare him away. "in his stupid white robe and with his body guard and fancy words"

Across on the otherside of the pen a shodowy figure lurks in the shade waching Wolter "play" with the boars.

Some what you guess to be half orc children run up to the pen fence laughing and begin to throw stones at your cages, it becomes tediously annoying and eventually after a long while the bug bears grunt at them and they run off, just in time as the troll comes out and looks and sniffs around for a bit, scowls at the bug bears then lurches back to the tent.
