War Of The Gods - Game - Page 24

Wolter will try to catch a few of the rocks thrown at them. HE will see if he can get a little pile of them. If one is sharp enough he will use it to cut the rope. He will make sure that any scraps that end up in his cage ends up in his belly.

Wolter will make sure to call over the friendly pig every couple hours to remain in contact with it and to pet it as best he can. He will try again tomorrow to make the other pigs happy with him too.

Wolter will still watch the guards and how they patrol and when any openings come about. He will study the bar and the lock. HE is hoping of seeing a weakness in the system and to exploit it. He will test every bar in his cage to see if there is one or more loose ones he can work on to make them weaker and a possible exit point.

None of the rocks accessible prove to be of any use but you find a rough rusted section on the bars in one of the top corners, grinding the rope on that would probably be of double benefit, tearing the rope and testing the metal (clear the rust and see whats left) the only problem with it being in the top corner you will raise suspicion...

the bug bears seem stupid but between them there is usually atleast one watching you, except at night, some times the swap over can be slow or they drift off while standing for a bit.

The troll dosen't really watch you when he comes out but surveys the rest of the area, his senses are much keener tho.

As for the bar, it could be lifted by the others leaving someone free to open their door, but with the others as week as they are you don't know if they could do it, exspecially with their hands bound, you can see it will make it alot harder unless they are free from their bindings.

Wolter will use the cover of darkness and the lack of proper watching of the cages to test out the rusted area to see if that is a weakness and to cut through his bindings. HE will let Feroz know what he is thinking about the bar and whether or not they can get him (Feroz) free so that he can use his powers to escape notice and maybe get them some weapons and food.

"I feel stronger I am pretty sure I can destroy these bars enough for an escape. There is a chance that in using my power I will draw attention to us."

Feroz states he is ready to try and escape. For one such as himself being trapped in a cage is like being a plant with no sun. The sooner he is free the better.

Game Gods The War

As once again night falls, (perhaps for the third time) and almost nothing unusual happend when suddenly an old raspy voice wispers, so troubled survivors that wish not yet to die, what path binds you to this world?

the sound coming from so close startles you both as you look around and see no one...

"I have been here for long, and seen how it works but for just as long I have not seen how the rest of the world works, let us trade stories, with you going first."

At the same time you both pin point the source of the sound, an odd smooth stone, within arms reach of the cave, that was earlier thrown at it.

"time is not on your side so for the sake of me missing a story and perhaps you your life you cling to so dearly, I beg you to begin...."

Feroz looks over at Wolter and sees he to hears the rock. Good I am not completely insane, yet, I think. *He thinks*

Feroz punches the bars once in frustration.

"What the hay rock? What manner of creature are you? I am beyond the point of caring, I want out of this cage."

Feroz plans to ignore the voice asking for his story. Yet, as time passes and his mad muttering wanes so to does his frustration.
"Fine, you want do know my story, here it is. I was born in the underdark, in a city called Feroz. My mother and father died of old age when I was 5. I was trained then by my master. The amount of boredom I suffered daily was to much, so I left Feroz." Feroz looks to the rock to see if it is listening, after a second he realizes it is a rock and sighs.

"I have been trying to find a greater purpose and here I sit in a cage, talking to a ROCK! If you have some idea on how to help me then speak up. Otherwise keep your mouth shut or I will bury you in a shallow grave once I escape.", A little bit of spit fires from Feroz's mouth in anger as he finishes his speech.

The rock giggles at you, then you notice an echo and as you look around you can make out a beegger in rags giggling as he holds a rock to his mouth.

"Oh I see you have noticed me, well well, your story was short and boring and of no interest to me so I offer nothing in return. I want to know of hidden wealth and evil dangers and maidens fair and more so if not..."

then he looks up at you and even in the dark and at the distance you notice the dirty smile of old dry wrinkly lips and grotty teeth with many a gaps.

"I may even be of help and assistance, if I was so inclined or persuaded, I was once a great bard with stories from afar, but alas fate has ended my adventures in this dump."

Wolter will tell the rock the tale of their ocean passing. HE will tell of the fair winds that blew and the evil winds that caused the ship to be attacked. HE will tell of fair maidens cowering behind the backs of the brave heros as the valiantly fought off the invaders with nary but a scratch or two to show how brave they were. HE will tell of the ships captain and how he made sure the ships sailed true and how he was able to steer the ship clear of sea serpents and other creatures of the see that would want to do harm to the land lovers. HE will tell of heros fall while they tried in vain to rescue slaves from a pack of Gnolls only to become part of the slave trade.

When he is done he will ask the rock for his story now.
