Oliron you make it too the door and after a little bit of fiddling you manage to open it. The dog whimpers as it gets ganged up on, smoke now spills out into the hallway and you see the half giant standing before you in the doorway. (conveniently with your weapons loosely straddled to his chest and belt.)
Smoke now only half fills the room and you can see semi clearly, the two halflings standing in the back corner, awaiting your next move. The dog is no where to be seen but the smoke hangs heavily on the floor and may be covering it if it is lying down.
"Once we are armed to defend ourself and on a separate boat I shall set her free!" The voice calls up. "Give us passage we are coming up"
Wolter knows there were only 6 slaves down there.
"Alright Wolter?" Un'Rogaar inquires, as he quickly begins to hand his equipment over, longsword first. He wraps his hand around the half-elf's shoulder, dragging him out of the room and behind him. Hefting his shield in a precautionary manner, he begins to scan the room for hostiles, whilst slowly venturing forth.
OOC: +0 listen/spot.
Once the halflings are dead Feroz removes his hat, jumps, and places it on Un'Rogaar's head.
"Make yourself look weak friend, after your down there you can tear some stuff up. I want the hat back though when your done."
Feroz grins and prepares to cast grease if anyone tries to come up the stairs.
They both throw their daggers at you, its then easy to notice one stands in each corner on the far wall. The smoke has spilled out almost completely now.
Only one dagger manages to hurt you, (8 damage) then you watch as they both appear back in the halflings hands where they came from.
Everyone sees another half orc climbing the ladder. He growls at the sight of the smoke everywhere.
Un'Rogaar grunts, glancing down at his wound and muttering "....... hits hard for a tiny halfling". He smirks at Wolter a moment, before turning to his attackers with a murderous look.
Un'Rogaar then bursts into action, his 8-foot frame hurdling towards the halfling.
OOC: If I can see wounds, I'll charge the wounded halfling, presuming he is within 70ft. If I can't see that one is wounded, I'll go left. Just like before adjusted AC will be 21 for the round, +7 to hit, 2d6+4 damage. (20/x3 critical, just in case).
UnRoggar charges for 10 damage as the halfling is unable to avoid the blow he is now looking badly wounded,
Then the halflings who were waiting act, in a flash the one Unroggar wasn't attacking leaps to the flank and stabs his magical dagger into his lower back, (17 damage)
The halfling in front throws a quick jabbing stab but is way off, as he seems to be focusing more on his defense than offence.
Wolter realizes who ever the halfgiant attacks will just be a decoy for the other to tear into his back. With that he lets loose an arrow at the badly wounded halfling, his aim lands true for 6 damage and the halfling looks near death,
Now Unroggar has his balance back from the charge and the halfling behind hasn't the momentum of his own charge he fails to find the strength to pierce the half giants armor... But comes scarily close. The halfing infront was once again way off.
Unroggar fails to connect his weapon to the enemy, but watches him fall dead anyway as another arrow from Wolter finds its target but only just, 3damage.
No sooner had the halfling fell to the floor his dagger explodes in a 10foot fireball burning Unroggar for 4damage, Wolter was out of reach.
Turning on the last halfling you lay waste to him in 2 rounds each missing once, him always missing but like the other dagger this one explodes,
prepared and quick Unroggar manages to shield himself from most the blast (2damage)
(all up 23 damage to Unroggar from this encounter)
Meanwhile the half orc fell down the ladder twice and spent a third round deciding if he should try again, after receiving a short shouting at he climbs up with ease.
