Helen Thomas really gets ugly, bashes Jews
Helen Thomas showed her true colors when asked about the Israel situation - and it's pretty clear she's not a fan of Jews. She's been forced into an early retirement over the statements, but how this woman-goat hybrid ever had a job remains a mystery. With 'journalists' having views like this, it should be no surprise that the media seems disinterested in the audio of the IDF radio call to the 'peace' flotilla in which the IDF are told to "Shut up. Go back to Auschwitz". Glenn shows the real haters on radio today. Ref. Source 3
Veteran White House Reporter Helen Thomas Retires After Israel Remarks
Veteran White House correspondent Helen Thomas has retired amid a firestorm of criticism over comments she made on the Israel-Palestine conflict. Widely known as "the dean of the White House press corps," Thomas is the most senior White House correspondent and has covered every president since John F. Kennedy. In a brief video interview with the website RabbiLive.com, Thomas said her message to Israelis is to "get the hell out of Palestine." Thomas also suggested Israeli Jews should return to Poland, Germany or the United States. Thomas later issued a statement saying, "I deeply regret my comments I made last week regarding the Israelis and the Palestinians. They do not reflect my heart-felt belief that peace will come to the Middle East only when all parties recognize the need for mutual respect and tolerance. May that day come soon." Helen Thomas' school scraps award over 'Zionists' remark:
The Detroit, Michigan, institution that Thomas graduated from in 1942, said in a statement Friday that the school will no longer give out the Helen Thomas Spirit of Diversity in the Media Award. "Wayne State encourages free speech and open dialogue, and respects diverse viewpoints," the school's statement said. "However, the university strongly condemns the anti-Semitic remarks made by Helen Thomas during a conference yesterday." Ref. Source 3
