Gene testers warned to get FDA approval
In a move that could stymie the growth of do-it-yourself genetic tests, the Food and Drug Administration warned San Diego's Illumina Inc. And four other companies on Friday that their planned DNA kits need regulatory approval before being sold directly to the public. Ref. Source 7
