Florida state attorneys fighting impending law that says they can't pay employees' Bar dues

The Florida Prosecuting Attorneys Association petitioned the state Supreme Court on Tuesday to keep the law, passed last Legislative session, from taking effect. The law, passed as House Bill 5001, says "no state agency may expend funds provided in this act for bar dues. Ref. Source 4
