I have never had a character even remotely close to be able to fight something like this. Thus my tactics would be to stand there and wish I was somewhere else while I got eaten. Or to run as fast as I could away from the thing. Seriously I don't think there is any good tactic when fighting something this tough. You kind of just hope for the best and assume your going to die.
