A state commission voted Thursday to recognize a Lakeside parcel as an Indian burial site, in an attempt to protect it from being part of a $20 million water project. Ref. Source 9

Project Water Vs Site Burial

I think that sacred Indian burial sites should be left alone, regardless of what use could be made of the land!
I agree that the right decision was made to protect this area, it's a shame that this isn't made the same nationally!
