Priority Bus Route Travel Laws - PBR

This Thread has been started based on a follow up from this Post: Source 8 where Jack Warner made an announcement about new usage for the Priority (PBR) for a three month trial period. Basically, to use the PBR in a private car you will have to car pool with three or more people in your car. You can only use it between certain hours and commercial vehicles of any type will not be allowed. Now the thing with this is the enforcement. Both the time and number of people in the car will have to be rigorously enforced. I just do not see it to be honest. What are your thoughts?

I just don't see it unless there is specific people who will deal with traffic (based on what I heard Kamla plans to make tough traffic laws). I think for those traveling by maxi, it will take much longer to reach town now.

They are opening up the PBR starting July 1st, 2010. The three persons per non-commercial vehicle will be in effect. I guess this means motorcyclist still cannot use the PBR?

I thought they would test it DURING the school year when traffic is really the issue, not when school is over!
