Bruce Lee - A Warriors Journey - Page 2

I must say I am not a Martial Art Purist, not even a Traditionalist, but using the best technique for each situation in not a new thing. The Ninja of Japan were masters at adaptability, discarding useless tradition for modern efficiency. Military organizations and special forces had their lives depend on new ways and mixing technique from different traditions and experience. People worship Movie stars for their Martial prowess, but some ordinary people have survived because of their training and courage, without ever wearing a belt or lifting a trophy in their lives.
Bruce Lee was a Pioneer, he was good, very good - but in my opinion there have been countless unknown that have been better.

Comments: There's quite a bit of info here that I didn't know about Bruce but the documentary lacked in other areas too. Too bad they didn't give him the chance to do that martial arts demo series. I did like that he always wanted his students to get the best from his teachings and films.
