Your words, like luxurious silk threads
That wind over the body of the esteemed woman
To form a dress
Covered in blue-white pearls
Strung by rich gold thread
And covering the smooth apple skin
Over supple, hard-worked limbs
That are made magical for one night,
Have wrapped around my heart
And strangled it.

And I feel like I've been writing poetry for a while, but really it's only been school assignments and free verse that I do for fun, such as this piece.

Love Not Desire

Very romantic, something to be shared between lovers maybe. It just needs to be formatted a bit better I think.
