What do you think about this group that believes that men originated form Aliens? Do you think they are just trying to make money or genuinely have a belief?

Washington, DC -- A baby said to be the first human clone has gone home

The baby, nicknamed ``Eve,'' went home Monday, said Clonaid spokeswoman
Nadine Gary. The company has refused to say where her home is, or where Eve
Was born last Thursday. The unidentified mother is a 31-year-old American,
Clonaid officials said at a news conference last week in Hollywood, Fla.
In a separate action, a lawyer in Florida asked a judge Tuesday to appoint
A guardian for the baby, if she exists, saying that Clonaid is trying to
Commercially exploit the child and that she needs specialized medical
Treatment.
In documents filed in Broward County Circuit Court, attorney Bernard F.
Siegel said that if the judge determines the baby is in danger, she should
Be turned over to state care. Siegel admits in the documents that he does
Not know if the baby is in Florida, but argued that the court has
Jurisdiction because Clonaid held its news conference in the state last
Week. No hearing date has been set.
Siegel, a sports and entertainment lawyer in Miami, said he had ``no
Particular ax to grind,'' and was trying to act in the child's best
Interest. In 1999, Siegel started a Web site to draft Minnesota Gov. Jesse
Ventura to run for president.
Clonaid did not immediately returned a call seeking comment.
DNA samples are to be taken soon from the baby and the mother for testing
To show whether Eve is a clone of the woman.
Clonaid, which declines to reveal where its facilities are, was founded in
The Bahamas in 1997 by the man who founded the Raelian religious sect. The
Man, Rael, says he learned about the origin of life on Earth from a visitor
From outer space. He says he views cloning as a step toward reaching
Eternal life.
Another leader, Clonaid Vice President Thomas Kaenzig, recently told the
Las Vegas Sun newspaper he's received death threats. "I receive about one
Death threat an hour (By e-mail)."
But he issued one of his own against pro-life people who oppose what his
Cult is doing.
"There's too many religious zealots in this country who could use a bomb
Like at abortion clinics," He said.
Clonaid retains philosophical but not economic ties to the Raelians, the
Company says.
Meanwhile, South Korean prosecutors are reportedly trying to verify reports
That Clonaid officials impregnated a South Korean woman with a cloned human
Embryo and moved her out of the country in July.
The prosecutors recently seized documents and research data from a South
Korea biotech company that reportedly helped Clonaid with the impregnation,
The national Yonhap news agency said.
Prosecution officials quoted by Yonhap did not identify the country where
The South Korean woman was thought to have gone.

They are all mad. I feel so sorry for that baby (if exists). What kind of life she is going to have? in a lab?. These people are craving for experiments and they do not care about the life of anybody and they're going to have any excuse to have this baby under 'medical treatment' when in reality who knows are terror experiments.
It makes me sick they can call these 'science'.

I would have to see proof that mankind was started by Aliens. This is just sick. If this were true, it would go against everything in my being. I shudder to think about that poor child's life too. It hasn't been that long ago on the news or in the paper that Clonaid, if I remember correctly, was discredited on many of their cloning and claims. I think they were even run out of the country. But I will have to check more into whether that was true or not. I think that they are out just to make money off of a very well concealed lie.

I think the fact that we are able to clone is pretty coool, but i think its wrong. Nature isn't something that should be tampered with that much, why can't we spend the money on space and saving the environment? We don't need more people on this earth, we are crowded enough as it is.

Human Race started Aliens General Religious Beliefs
There is little to no evidence that humans originated from aliens. There is however, a collection of writings that some one of low intelligence wrote, but doesn't know how, a book that was supposedly revelatory as to our creating and existence. This book would come to be known as the Urantia Book. This book of writings supposedly has celestial origins and explains that we did come from aliens, so to speak.

Another group also believes we came from aliens by means of a prophet that spoke to an alien. They believe that Yahweh was an alien that came to tell us that we where created by them. They call themselves the Raelians.

Both of these theories would make really cool science fiction novels, but offer little substantial evidence as to their proof of creatorship. I think that logically, we had to have been originally created by some higher power, or even higher intelligence. We would call that God, but whether it really happened like that I don't know. Since we cant prove that aliens even exist, I think its safe to put the "aliens as creators" argument on the shelf until such evidence exists.
