Wow, obviously this kid have issues but he should pay for what he did regardless.

| ATERSON, N.J. - Authorities say a New Jersey teenager threatened to rape and kill his teacher if she did not give his entire class an "A++" for the last school year. Authorities say the 14-year-old boy made the threats in an e-mail sent in May. He has been identified only as a student at the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology. He is also accused of threatening to rape the teacher's mother and sister if the grades were not changed within 48 hours. The boy turned himself in to Passaic County authorities Friday and was charged with making terroristic threats and criminal coercion.... |

Obviously the boy is not smart. First he uses Email and then he asks for an "A+" for everyone? This must have been a sick practical joke that was not taken in that light by his teacher. I wonder what the parents have to say about that?

Ever since the events that happened which was directly attributed to September 11, 2001, the culture of Americans have changed drastically. Any form of threat or terrorist activity is not taken lightly, and drastic measures are taken to protect the lives of the victims. I cannot imagine what was going on in the mind of this 14 year old. I am somewhat reminded of the MSN message that was sent to all cellular phones in Trinidad and Tobago regarding the kidnap of a young girl and the ransom that was demanded. Since then the MSN messages feature to cell phones have been disabled. Maybe he intended to send the email to some one else (I know thats probably a long stretch)

Some teens send a lot of messages and e-mails without thinking of the consequences. They just say things because they can not seeing that it could be taken very serious.

I hope that what ever punishment this young man receives he learns that some things are not funny to the person receiving the threat. Yeah we live in a much different world now a days and I feel for those who will not understand the freedoms we once had.

The thing about threats of this type if they are not controlled, they do tend to happen so I am pretty sure this boy would have carry out his criminal act if he wasn't stopped.
