National mortgage rates on 30-year fixed mortgages remained stable at 4.47% on July 13, 2010, according to Zillow Mortgage Marketplace. As a comparison, state rates ranged from a low of 4.32% (NM) to a high of 4.72% (NV).

Compared to the week prior to July 13, 2010, the national 30-year mortgage rate is down 1 basis points from 4.48%. Compared to three months ago, the 30-year rate is down 50 basis points from its average rate of 4.97%.

I have a feeling that mortgage rates will fall some more. If this happens and everything works out for me I may try to lock in to refinancing my home at a lower rate.
