Hinckley's Lack Of Prophetic Messages?

Comments: You guys are missing the point when it comes to varying opinons on this or any other war.

War is a Big Deal, especially for those of us who have actually engauged in it while leaving our Families behind. In some instances...For good.

War is a particular subject involving life & death decisions
that always warrant direct direction and understanding that God provides a Prophet. At least for the sake of His Saints.

No individual should have to wonder whether or not a particular war is a just cause. It is not an individual cause and requires a collective and decisive answer from someone representing the whole.

If you take a close look at wars in the scriptures where God is in support of His Saints, there is never any doubt.

And where does that surity of a Nation's confidence come from when committing themselves to war? ALWAYS God's Prophet. At least as far as God's Saints are concerned.

So why do you suppose there are so many members with mixed feelings about the war we are currently engauged in?

If you are connected with reality & God's Principles, you would understand that this current war is completely unjustified. And all things leading up to it were intended as a warning for us to repent.

Instead we kicked---.

The bigger question is....Who is responsible for eliminating our confusion over this issue for us as Saints and why has it not been done?

You & I should not even be debating this issue.

To understand the nature of the hands off policly regarding our Church Leaders not offering us God's will on this matter and having ducked proclaiming the Lord's will, is manifest in the very first comments made by President Hinkley at the Fall Conference of 2001.

I suggest you go back and carefully ponder his words and "opinons" concerning something of such grave importance for us to understand and should not have to debate over.

It is scary what he proclaimed. Read his remarks concerning 911.

Don't just gloss over them...Look At Them! Indecisive, Opinon abounds! This is NOT God speaking! And the only committment on his part was to endorse our following President Bush head long into what has become self evident at this point.

You're debating this thing IS the issue here....You shouldn't have to be doing this.

And the more this thing drags out as did my favorite war in Vietnam...The Greater the distance the leaders of the church would like to see us distance ourselves from Preident Hinkleys remarks in 2001.

Go get a fresh look at those October Conference remarks. They will Astound you in their vauge and meaningless content. He is supposed to be a Prophet and he tells us we can't know where all this is going? Jeez...I could have saved him that trouble and made that profound statement for him and he could have stayed at home that day. And guess what? I'm not a Prophet...I'm not even a high school graduate, but even I could have come up with that one.

You may have felt ok by that but you were not asked to leave your wife & kids behind to embark upon such an unknown equation of doubt!

Many of you need to wake up and smell the coffee. And believe me, coffee would be a better thing to swallow...

Comments: Liahona, the remarks made concerning the prophets of our day having their eyes closed by God is very plainly laid out in the scriptures.

To reach that level of descerning it and other warnings the Lord gives us, requires an understanding of the scriptures that the Lord has admonished us to achieve so that we might not be caught unawares of the matters concerning these things.

I know this is the Lord's Church. No one has a greater testimony of that than myself.

But all is NOT well in Zion. And anyone who attempts to convince us otherwise, is not reading the scriptures closely enough.

I understand that many good members don't have this level of understanding the true nature of what currently transpires within the Lord's church, but it will not negate the awesome choices we face in the near future when the Lord exposes this evil for what it is...A secret combination among us that has a death grip on our not being able to establish Zion.

The scriptures are repleat with the understanding of this and how the Lord has warned us of it's presence.

Time is running out at a very rapid pace and the Lord will soon interject Himself in a way that will cause great havoc among us for having allowed this secret combination to get over on us as we were warned to not let happen.

Too Late... It already has... Just as the Lord said it would because we have come to the point as a body of saints who have placed our trust in the hands of flesh rather than God.

If this is foreign to you it is because you have partially fallen for the deception that God said He would send upon us so that we might believe a "LIE" as found in 2 Thesolonians.

A "LIE" is what we have been asking for by placing blind trust in the arm of flesh and denying the power of God.

I don't speak for anyone as an individual who has honestly sought to establish a personal relationship with God but rather anyone who does not by now, recognize that the ship is being steered by the arm of flesh, and we are suffering a covenant curse at the hands of those responsible for perpetuating the curse.

And THIS blindness is what is preventing us from establishing Zion. We can never achieve Zion as indiviudals. But we can attain the presence of God in our lives. The collective whole is under a curse that must be broken by God.

As God promises us, He will eventually send someone of HIS chosing to set the House of God in order. As per section 85, 103 and 112 of the D&C and many other scriptures in the Bible and Book of Mormon that depict this reality we face today.

And to suggest it's need to be set in order, implies that something is causing it to be OUT of order that must be remidied for us to get to where we need to be as a Group.

So it is possible to reap great blessings as a faithful follower of Christ and still reap the curse that applies to us as part of a stagnent group.

And it is the leaders who are responsible for the group.

But we as individuals have been warned in the scriptures that THIS particular generation of leaders will attempt to lead us astray and do a good job of that.

Only a small remnant will survive and be lead by true prophets of God sent to replace the status quo.

Their deception is perfect until you first understand the Lord's warning to us & then begin putting two & two together to discover the scope and depth of that deception.

The warning comes to us in plain writing and is not my opinion or bias.

The Lord tells us that once we have discovered His Warning to us, then it is for us to warn others.

Christ most certainly is in control of things but is currently allowing this thing to go on for a time for the purpose of allowing the wicked in the Church to gather themselves according to this secret combination and then spring their trap on us publicly.

Read the Joseph Smith translation of 2 Thesilonians were it speaks of the Man of Sin being allowed to function by Christ for a time before he is exposed. This whole matter described in these verses apply to US. WE build the Temples of God to which this man seats himself pretending to be God. And this is the culmination of the Plan orchestrated by the secret combination being refered to in the Book of Mormon that Christ warns us to not allow to get above us. And is also depicted in the book of Revelation.

That's what members of secret combinations do. They hide in plain sight until they are primed and ready to accomplish their ultimate goal of decieving and destroying the righteous among the Lord's people.

They are wolves among us, and are the ones you would least likely to expect because they are in sheeps clothing.

And the ones at the very top who are smartest and have the most power to sway our thoughts & opinions and steer us away from discovering their plan of deception, are the ones who know how to clothe themselves BEST.

If they claim there is no deception, then what they are claiming is in direct contrast to what the Lord Warns us of in the scriptures.

Why do you suppose that the newly adopted policy of a current prophet having the right to superceed revelations of any previous prophet has spoken, has surfaced recently?

Is their prophicies of our time false or need to be replaced with something different?

If you read what Joseph Smith & the ancient prohets have warned us of in our day, then you would KNOW why this new policy has been adopted by our leaders.

Those previous prophecies depicting our day, all implicate the treasonous guilt of our current leaders.

Start with looking at WARNINGS God has given us as opposed to the Warm Fuzzies we are encouraged to focus on. Your eyes will be opened.

The Lord tells us point blank...It is the ones you LEAST expect. Now who would that be?

Comments: When it comes to following council issued by the brethren I have only found a couple of things to take exception with.

Unfortunately those few things are monumental errors (calculations) on their part.

For example: When an Apostle tells me that "when the brethren have done the thinking, the thinking has been done", doesn't sit real well with me.

I was given a mind by God to think for myself and it is a statement of arrogant pride that would deprive me of my right and responsibilty to descern things for myself.

Even and especially things the brethren prescribe as counsel from God because what they have to say is so important to us. And a true man of God would invite and encourage inquirey. Am I wrong?

Some how I could never imagine God making that statement, so why would a man who supposedly represents God, make that statement?

And why would it be published in an article of the Ensign if it were considered a foo pa on his part?

It wasn't. It was a calculated effort to get members to stop asking questions they did not want to answer.

So I have a big problem with little things like that and others that suggest I not use my agency as God intented. Or require me to place my complete faith in a Prophet above that of placing my faith in God. And anything less than complete obiedience to a prophet is tantamount to treason against God. Bull Crap! Unless he happens to be God, which according to the last time I checked, Christ has yet to return.

Of course God wants me to follow any righteous man He appoints above me. But to mearly assume that what flows from any leaders mouth is from God, is pure ignorance on my part.

If you don't have the brains to descern garbage from cusine, you deserve no better than to leap from a cliff with the rest of the lemmings.

I'm not proclaiming rebellion. I'm preserving my right to think and act for myself as God intends and expects me to.

No one on this post understands the importance of Authority in leadership postions more than I do. And I also understand the importance of making sure that the calls that are made, truly come from God and don't accept anything at face value! I don't care who's mouth it comes from.

God is the only one I put my faith in. Where in the 4th Article of Faith, does it require me to place my Faith in anyone other than God? So why have we been admonished to violate that tenant?

I would give serious reflection to some of the garbage that has flowed from the lips of church leaders. Being a retired Marine I'm a Team Player as long as the quaterback isn't issuing calls that will violate the rules of the game.

I have great faith in the rules laid out by Christ and know them very well. And it has become obvious that some are trying to change the game. And all too many are willing to listen to their flagrant calls of unGodly implications.

So be it. But there will be a heavy price to pay when you have to answer to God for the calls you decide to obey that are incorrect.

You are not going to be able to get away with saying..."Hey, they told me you said they would never lead us astray". "What was I suposed to do"? "Not listen to them"? "They said that they had already done the thinking for me, so why should I have to"?

To me, anyone who adopts this foolish lame duck approach to ducking personal responsibility, is going to look like an absolute idiot making these excuses before God.

I can only imagine Him listening to the first guy to come up with this garbage and tell the rest to hit the showers with the first guy He throws out of His presence before they have a chance to open their foolish, ignorant mouths.

And the fact that such statements come from top leaders that absolutely violate the rules of God, is particularly unsettling.

I can understand ignorant remarks occasionally being made among us peons, but such flagrant violations of eternal law at the highest level suggests that all is not well in Zion.

These false doctrines have been accepted as the Gospel Truth.

There are as many ignorant Mormons as there are people who voted for Obama and expected things would turn out just hunky dory.

At least the American public in general don't claim Obama is God, as we have ignorantly reserved that position of authority for our Prophet.

We are the biggest bunch of fools to walk the face of this earth.

Is it any wonder that Sons and daughters of Perdition are only taken from the ranks of the Lord's covenant people?

What foolish idiots!

Messages Prophetic Lack Hinckleys

My main question about all that Nick has to say is who is he? Is he even a member of the church? He must be having some special revelation that makes him feel he can talk down to everyone about what he believes is his take on everything. rolleyes.gif
