Burger King Trinidad & Tobago - Page 4

Name: Customer

Comments: Jasmile, sounds like Trinidadian service to me so for that reason they can bring Burger King, Mc Donalds, Wendy's and the big mouse with the cheese in Chaguanas and you'll still get "Trinidadian service" Which equals to crap service. And who is there to blame but us? Always so desperately greedy and thinking with our bellies instead with our heads. Not surprised about the service in Burger King it has been horrible from day one.

Title: Response to Customer

Comments: Firstly, not all Trinidadian customer service is the same. It is unfair to broad brush them all. There are many eateries whose staff actually thank you for your business when you purchase from them. There are also many eateries, whose customer service started off poorly and improved significantly via feedback and training, if not change over of staff as an extreme measure.
While the consumer does have a right to exercise where and when he or she spends his/her money, it is feedback from the consumer that helps the business grow. This is why I think that Burger King needs to start a customer feedback initiative else they will go the way of Wendy's who is struggling for market share, and the out of business Long John Silvers.
Now a days, we have more right thinking individuals who are not desperate, greedy and thinking with their bellies. Some consumers actually give them enough rope to hang themselves, taking their money and their empty bellies elsewhere (It takes a series of visits and at times multiple branches to paint a clear picture of the overall service thus eliminating the idea of a one off experience).
Not everyone complains and then goes back to make purchases to then complain more. There are those observe, engage in purchases, form clear opinions, complain and then adjust their purchasing behaviours to the detriment of said business.
Power to the consumer!

Title: Vouchers

Comments: Yep Jasmine. Trincity & Tunapuna branch tried to sell me the whopper jr MEAL rather than the whopper jr sandwich, to redeem the voucher that specifically states $5.00 for whopper jr with the purchase of a whopper jr. No where on the voucher does it say meal, or combo. Even the photo in the voucher, only shows 2 burgers. When I pointed this out to the cashier and the subsequent supervisor, they insisted it was the meal to be purchased. I further pointed it out, on other voucher offers they used the term "Whopper Jr combo". Again, the attitude from them.
Supervisor at Trincity mall at 10.30am on Monday 25th 2014 needs to check the attitude and try to listen to what the customer is saying. The "That is that" Stance and walking off when the customer is talking to you, is a big no no.
Anyway,I will no longer patronise BK. I'll go to the local gyro man and get better quality burger and better service!
And I don't have to pay $1.00 extra for sauce there either!

Title: Burger King ... Why?

Comments: I agree with Trinilover, if I am in Trinidad I would rather eat authentic Trinidadian food than commercial American fast food, regardless of the service. It is just not worth the money no matter how you look at it. Also American fast food has been proven to be unhealthy with the amount of salt and grease in it. Trinidadians would be better off not going to these places at all.

Tobago and Trinidad King Burger

Trinis love their chicken and chips and roti, they don't care what kind of service they get because tomorrow they know they will be buying local until next time.

Burger King Trinidad & Tobago

Burger King in Trinidad has recently been promoting the new Impossible Burger as a plant based burger that tastes just like a beef burger. At present, it costs $45 which is very pricey in my opinion especially because I could buy a veggie roti and three pies with less than that. However, to inform, if you are vegetarian or more so vegan you should note:

1. They cook the patty on the SAME grill where they cook other meats. They have said they do not cook it at the same time as meats but still in the same place. For me, that is contaminating the patty.

2. The bread they serve it with may be made with milk.

Now, it is important to note that the Impossible Burger is not meant to be sold as vegan, it is merely a plant based alternative to the beef burger. You can also see these references: Source 3m and Source 4p.
