What are your thoughts on Gary Bates and his proclamations?

I woke up one morning to the radio alarm and he was a talk show guest. It just stuck in my head that day and I wanted to share.
What stood out about him for me is that a lot of his information seems really intelligent. Also I always find it refreshing when I come across people who can grasp the concept of several layers of possibly opposing subjects being connected or co-existing.
Many people get stuck on just one set way of thinking and have no way or desire of sorting threw seemingly opposing information. I like it that he is mentally sound with the capacity to produce an intelligent body of information but also is out there, kind of like me.

That's the thing about most of these cases - the people tend to be charismatic and able to draw people in with their speeches but the hard evidence is not there. That is why I made the little reference to his degree in marketing.
