I've never been on a cruise, but I sure would love to go on one. Or several. The most common talked about is a Caribbean Cruise. Well I would like to go to Alaska. I've seen some brochures on it and the Alaskan coastline is Fantastically Beautiful. Then of course a Caribbean Cruise. I would also like to take a cruise to the British Isles. That should keep me busy for a year maybe -->
I would love to go on a cruise! I'm not sure where, but I've heard that the experience of being aboard a ship -- which is its own little world -- is really wonderful.
My sister went a on a cruise many years ago with her husband to the "Mexican Riviera". My former mother in law went to Alaska -- she loved the "edible" flower arrangements.
Ive never been on a cruise, but this coming August my sister and me are planning going on one. She has been on one, it will be first time.Im very excited about it, and looking forward to it a great deal. Are they all their said to be though- to those who have been on one? I hear you have to tip people alot while your on one though..Hmm..we're planning on going on one to the Bahamas or Carribean, which is better?
I have been on a cruise, but that was when I was... ah, five. Or four. Or even six or seven, because frankly I can't remember when it was apart from the fact that it was an extremely long time ago. I found it extremely fun, however, as it was a family holiday and my parents were both happy. MelanieSue, I suggest the Carribean. Not because of anything, mind (I've never been to either) but just out of the sheer fact that it' sounds funkier.
Keep in mind that I happen to be thirteen going on fourteen, and I'm extremely fickle in choosing. Actually, I don't recall my parents tipping anyone on the cruise, but perhaps they did. The entertainment was fantastic, though. If I could've tipped those people then I probably would have.
I've been on two cruises so far...both very exciting, and had a Pizzeria on board! which meant that I could have pizza everyday! and I did, for a week straight, I ate 3 pizza's a day (one after breakfast, one after lunch, and one at midnight). Oh yea, now that's the high life. Looking back, I can't believe I ate that much. Anyhow, the first cruise that I went on was due to Grandma paying to take my immediate family out to Mexico. Sailed from San Diego to 3 different cities in Mexico, then back to San Diego. I was around 13 or 14? I think. The second cruise I went on was from Alaska to Canada. Now that was a very nice ship and the scenery was great, especially with the whale watching that we did. I went on that one when I was 17 I believe. Good stuff. I'd like to go on a cruise to the Bahamas though.
I have never been on a cruise but I have always dreamed of going. I have several friends who have been on them. The one thing they always tell me is that the food is to die for. That one could eat round the clock if one wanted to. One of my friends, Dolores, goes mainly for the food but also for the shopping at the ports of call. She has told me there isn't anything that you can't buy, as long as you have the money. She never mentioned anything about tipping, but I would assume that if someone went out of their way to please you it would only be proper to tip.
