What Does Heaven Look Like?
Does it look like a beautiful garden or white clouds?
There are many different beliefs about heaven, most of them come from the imagination. Islam teaches heaven being filled with the Gardens of Allah. Non-diety centric religions teach becoming one with the world instead of a physical place. But the bible doesn't actually describe heaven as a garden or fluffy white clouds.
The bible talks about streets of gold, and mansions for ever person, as told in Revelations. God sits on a great white throne surrounded by martyrs and angels singing to praises to him. As well, there is a new earth, a new jerusalem to go along with this.
The idea of gardens, harps, clouds and such stem mostly from artists renderings of their own ideas of heaven. Theses ideas are largely unbacked by any type of scripture.

Comments: Heaven is more similar to a garden in my experience.

I believe Heaven is a perfect version of our life here on Earth.
Here is my logic. We are created in the image of God, thus we must have some traits of God (as his children). God created Eden and it was declared Good (in the eyes of God), but Adam and Eve fell, allowing us to enter mortality. Thus the near perfect state that was created for Adam and Eve would seem to be similar to what heaven must be like (A Garden).
I believe there will be Gardens (God creating Eden and declaring it good), Buildings and temples (Revelations 21 10-25), Mansions (John 14:2), and that we will recognize one another as we do now. We will converse, live, but in a perfected state, We will continue to learn concerning the mysteries of God and perform important work as required by the Lord, but we will never have to suffer the things that easily inflict us now. I believe that we will be as varied in personality as we are now, but we will be holy, and we will not treat the things of God as lightly as we do now.
I consider Heaven to be Larger then we can imagine (In revelations 21 and 22 it describes the future City of Jerusalem as being about 1500 square miles or roughly the size of the current United States, now that is a big city. But it is only one of I suppose many cities in heaven,) with extensive space to wander, explore, with much more variety then we see now ( The wonders of Nature that we see now will pale in comparison to the sights that we see will then, and we will have the added capacity of Resurrected and Perfected Bodies that I believe will have perfectly heightened senses with which to experience it with (See Luke 24:39). I Believe the animals that exist there will be varied and wonderful (see the entire book of Revelations) but we will recognize some that exist now such as the lamb and the lion, and the and the Serpent, (see Isa. 11: 6)

Isa. 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them. |

Matt. 5: 5 5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. |
Without a reference to go by I can not fathom what heaven will be like. I believe it will have streets of gold and we will all have a large house to live in. I believe it will be very large and have plenty of gardens to walk around in with our loved ones. I am hoping to one day spend a lot of time with my grand parents again.

Comments: I think heaven looks like open fields and golden roads and maybe houses for us to live in. I have heard that god decides if your going to heaven or not. You will see all of your friends and relatives and pets that died.you will come out of your body when you die and the angles will come and take you to a stairway to heaven and the angles will walk you up the stairs to heaven.
