Gospel To All Nations, Kindred Tongue And People

There have been past discussions on this site as to how close we all feel the Second Coming actually is. We continue to hear from modern day prophets as well as prophets of old how close the second coming of Christ is. We are told that he will come as a thief in the night and will catch many people off guard. It is interesting to see many signs of the times occurring even now in life.

One of the necessary things that must take place before the second coming is the need for the gospel to be taken to every nation, kindred, tongue and people.

There is a web site that shows statistical numbers as to where we do and do not have members, missions, stakes, etc. in the world.

Among the places we have not been (nor do we currently have plans to go to some of these places) are Pakistan, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Turkey, Ethiopia, Iran, Egypt, Myanmar, Sudan, Tanzania, Algeria, Morocco, Nepal, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Uganda, etc.. (the list goes on for quite some time: the whole middle east.......)

If the end is as close as we are being told it truly is and as many of us believe, then how will the gospel be brought to all these nations that do not have it? It seems like there are so many places that have yet to receive the gospel that the end could not be that close after all.

Hmm. Not sure why Persephone removed a link to the foundations of the information you offered....

I believe that the Muslim countries are going to combine forces to attack Israel, with a massive army of men. They will be destroyed, possibly by nuclear weapons, possibly by miraculous powers (probably by the Davidic King discussed in Isaiah). Because of this catastrophe, the remnants of the Muslim nations will begin to turn to God in reality, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ will be spread there.

Of course, this is just my opinion.
