It has actually been around for awhile but usually things like these are not shown as Hollywood entertainment because it addresses things that people would rather forget. In a nutshell when Churchill said to his people that Hitler must be stopped at any costs necessary he was very literal as you will see. The allies took one monster to kill another monster. The ironic play on the same thing today can be seen.
