United fell to a comedy of errors today against West Brom at home.
Manchester United 2 - 2 West Bromwich Albion
The big game tomorrow will be the Mersey Side derby Liverpool vs Everton.
This is a must win game for Liverpool after their controversial ownership battle.
Away the Reds!
Yes, Nani handled the ball, then the Ref decided to let the game go on as the Spurs keeper had the advantage. The keeper thought the Ref had given the freekick, so he put the ball down and stepped away from it as he would to take a freekick or goalkick. But as the ball had not gone out of play and the keeper had just dropped it, it was in play and the United player was correct to play the ball and score.
One other great result for an under-dog, Wolves 2 - Manchester City 1
Again it proves that Cash spending cant beat Grit and Determination.
It was a great Hat-trick for Nolan today in Newcastle's 5 - 1 thrashing of Sunderland.
It will be a tough test for Liverpool away at Bolton, but these are the games they must win to hold a respectable place in the league. At present they are 3rd from bottom.
Blackpool welcome West Bromwich tomorrow in a tense mid table clash.
Well it was get out of jail for Manchester United today to keep the pressure on Chelsea at the top of the league. It took a 93rd minute winner from Korean Ace Ji-Sung Park to defeat a brave attempt by Wolves to spoil the party for an injury prone United side. Owen Hargreaves returned after a long injury spell only to limp off after 10 minutes. Chelsea play tomorrow and so do Manchester City and Arsenal. Liverpool will try to do United a favour by challenging the mighty London Blues at Anfield.
A great day of Football today!
Liverpool's Fernando Tores emerged from a closet of indifference to give a stunning performance to score both goals that beat Chelsea 2 - nil at Anfield.
A dominant but disappointing Arsenal lost 1 - nil at home to Newcastle due to a brave goal by England hopeful Powerhouse Carroll up front.
Manchester City cruised to a 2 - nil result at West Bromwich, a young talent shone through, Mario Balatelli scored twice but was disgraced as he was sent off for very childish behavior. A pundit said "He's a Mature Striker with the temperament of a 12 year old". We will watch his career and the fortunes of his team with interest.
There is a big game mid-week : Manchester City v Manchester United. - I tip a draw or one goal to win it either way.
It was the night of the Draws tonight.
West Ham 2 - 2 West Brom
Wigan 1-1 Liverpool
Everton 1-1 Bolton
Man City 0 - 0 Man United
A thriller at West Ham, cant wait to see the Highlights.
A poor result for hot and cold Liverpool.
Everton really got out of jail scoring their equalizer in the 94th minute!
Manchester City really fancied United at Home, but I suspect they will fear the return Match.
