LDS Missionary Dress Code Changes
There has been some changes. Now missionaries will be able to wear light coloured suits and even sandals in some missions.
QUOTE SALT LAKE CITY - The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has loosened up the dress code for its missionaries.
Missionaries have always been able to adapt their dress to climate and environment, but with Thursday's announcement, there will be more options.
Instead of just dark colors, missionaries now have the option of lighter colors, like khaki or grey, for their suits and slacks. And in some missions, close-toed dress sandals are now allowed. Source 7

I think that's still alright as long as the dress code remains smart (Which I'm sure it will)
LDS missionaries have always been known for their very smart dress attire, so I'm sure they will continue to do so even wearing lighter colors.

Missionaries can wear shades and hats now. With the suit and shades they will look like FBI agents so they might want to take it off before they get to someone's door.
