In a few weeks, the competition will start and is already making headlines because some of the contestants will appear topless (body paint). Others chose to paint their backs instead so they will be still topless but facing the back at the camera.
What are your thoughts about this?

They are probably not doing well in ratings right now and have to resort to these methods of attracting attention. From what I understand after watching a TV report they are not completely topless but have acrylic and other artistic mediums on them. Of course the rest will be known for sure on pageant night.
Even if they are painted with fancy designs and what may look like clothing they are still pretty much showing everyone what they have on their chest. I would rather they stay covered with clothing like most other pageants. I knew there was a reason I stopped watching these type of shows. I know I will not watch this one even to see the fancy paint jobs.
One of the most prestigious beauty pageants, the Miss Universe 2010 aired on August 23 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
