What does everyone think about the new chain of video stores, called Clean Flicks.
I wrote my congressman to urge him to allow the chain to continue for my childrens sake and mine.
My husband and I find it hard to find movies that we want to view or that our children can view. Does anyone else have this problem?
Clean Flicks is a place in Utah that edits movies so they can be viewable by the entire family. However, there a few things I have to say about this...
1. It is a good idea...
2. People watch too much TV and if they were really busy doing visiting and hometeaching and magnifying their calling they would find themselves not having time to even turn the power button on.
3. If a film is R then usually most of it will be R related and I can't see how a movie can be enjoyable if its all cut up.

That sounds like a great idea... I wish we had such a thing here in Canada...

Although it is, doesn't it just seek to encourage something that we are already wasting to much time on, that is watching movies?[/quote]
I suppose in some instances it would... however the last movie I actually sat down and watched was Jonah a Vegitales movie... I mean I would like to watch a couple of others but really they are usually to violent, sexually explicit or just plain stupid... While there is no cure for the Stupid ones it might be nice to watch a movie like the matrix or the like once in a while... Like so many other things in our lives Movies need to be watched in moderation...
