Teenage girl shot and killed in Clairemont park

A 15-year-old Madison High School student who sneaked out of her home overnight was shot to death early Friday in a Clairemont park near Balboa Avenue and Interstate 805, San Diego police said. Ref. Source 6

Seems to be a totally random incident in a area that is not known for violence of any sort. Everyone says she did not have a boyfriend but her cousin said they were hanging with their boyfriends. Makes one wonder if the boyfriend had someone mad at him and shot her as a way to get even? I do not know about this one.
