Police: Lake City man set house on fire while girlfriend was inside

The girlfriend of 41-year-old Burton Ellis Beasley told police he poured gasoline outside their bedroom window and set it on fire about 4:30 a.m. At the home in the 100 block of Northwest Michelle Place, spokesman Sgt. THe police should have done the taxpayers a huge favor and just shot and killed him telling their superiors that he resisted.

I think this guy needs to be locked away for life and not ever released back into society.
