A 16-year-old Arlington Hills teen was arrested Friday on a charge of abuse of a disabled adult after a man with a cane became the victim of an apparent ?Knock Out Game? in February at a gas station at 7103 Merrill Road, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff?s Office.Kevin Kejuan Johnson of South Sandhurst Road was arrested on the charge after security camera video from a store near the attack captured him in a group of teens at the same time as the Feb. 4 attack, the Sheriff?s Office said.

Jacksonville Police Search For 2 Women Involved In Shooting

Two women are being sought by police following a late Tuesday-morning shooting of a man at his house in Northwest Jacksonville, police said.Just before noon, the women walked up to the victim in the 3000 block of North Detroit Circle and an argument started, said Lt. Ashish Sircar.One of the women pulled a gun and shot the victim in the upper body. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It was not clear if the shooting took place inside or outside the house. His name was not released.

A man who stabbed his mother and stepfather to death in 2007 while staying with them on parole pleaded guilty and avoided the death penalty, Jacksonville court records show.Ted Allen Taylor had been living with 57-year-old Sandra Hardy-Biggins and 58-year-old Dennis Biggins in their Camshire Drive home after an attempted-murder conviction in Texas, where he was diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Before she could return to St. Vincent?s Medical Center, her vehicle had a flat tire.

Man In Hospital After Shooting In Jacksonville Friday Afternoon

Police are investigating a shooting in Jacksonville that put a man in the hospital Friday afternoon with multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.Officers responded to the 1000 block of Grothe Street about 1:40 p.m. and found a man lying on the sidewalk with several gunshot wounds, said Lt. Ashisha Sircara.There was a bicycle involved but authorities are not sure if the victim was riding it when he was shot, Sircara said.The victim was taken to UF Health Jacksonville but his condition has not been released.

Assault Victim Taken By Helicopter From Brunswick To Trauma Center

BRUNSWICK, Ga. | An assault victim was transported by helicopter Friday afternoon from Brunswick to a trauma center.The man, who a witness said had been beaten, was airlifted from the soccer field at Glynn County?s Selden Park in north Brunswick about 4:45 p.m.An unidentified man at the scene of the airlift said the victim was his grandfather.County police were still investigating and no information was available on his assailant or whether anyone had been arrested.
