Police expect Jacksonville man to live after he was shot early New Year's Eve
Officer M.H. Sirmons said police were called a little before 2 a.m. Regarding the shooting. The victim told police he had been shot in front of his unit at the Flag Street apartment complex but could not give any suspect information. Ref. Source 3

Little lost control of the car about 6:35 p.m., and it struck the dirt embankment. The car continued on the shoulder before it struck a small tree, causing the vehicle to rotate clockwise and roll over side to side, and the vehicle's roof struck an oak tree. Ref. Source 2

An armed man wearing a red-and-white sweatshirt with a devil emblem on the front robbed a Kangaroo Express on McDuff Avenue Tuesday.
