National mortgage rates on 30-year fixed mortgages remained stable at 4.29% on September 9, 2010, according to Zillow Mortgage Marketplace. As a comparison, state rates ranged from a low of 4.23% (TX) to a high of 4.45% (MS).
Compared to the week prior to September 9, 2010, the national 30-year mortgage rate remained stable at 4.29%. Compared to three months ago, the 30-year rate is down 32 basis points from its average rate of 4.61%.
