Nicole Richie

Nicole Richie, adopted daughter to famous singer, Lionel Richie, is well known to the world as the best friend of Hilton heiress, Paris Hilton. Viewers may remember Nicole Richie, as the foul mouth, crazy sidekick and co-star of the series, "The Simple Life." Like most celebrities, Nicole Richie is no stranger to trouble. While growing up, she had serious problems with drugs and alcohol. Many years ago, she was involved in a serious car accident, which forced her, to enter a rehabilitation centre for treatment. Her father, Lionel Richie, took time off from his busy schedule, to provide moral support for his daughter, through this difficult time.

Like many celebrities, she seems very unlucky in romance. At one time, she was engaged to her boyfriend, Adam Goldstein (DJ AM) and the relationship ended very abruptly. There were rumours that her boyfriend DJ AM could not accept her recent weight loss. There has been a lot of speculation concerning her drastic weight loss. It has been widely reported that her weight loss was due to anorexia and others claim that she has a thyroid disease. So far, these reports have not been confirmed. Nicole Richie claims that she always had a naturally slender frame. Ironically, there maybe a possibility that Nicole Richie may join her friend Paris Hilton, behind bars for her DUI charge (she was charged in December 2006). Her court case concerning her DUI charge is scheduled for the end of June 2007.

She is currently dating Joel Madden for less than one year. Recently, there have been unconfirmed reports that, Nicole Richie may be pregnant. Here is a link concerning this news:

A court commissioner has sentenced Nicole Richie to four days in jail for driving under the influence of drugs, related to a December incident when she drove the wrong way on a freeway.

Only 4 days? Interesting. I heard rumors that she was pregnant, I wonder if the 4 days sentence has anything to do with it?

It was so obvious that she was pregnant! She was wearing long and big outfits as well as try to cover her tummy with a pillow so the paparazzi could not take a pic of her belly. I hope she stops her wild ways at least while she is pregnant.

I have to wonder if Nicole Richie's pregnancy was accidental or not. I would not put it past her to deliberately get herself pregnant, in order to receive a more lenient sentence. Anyway, I hope she takes good care of herself and whatever is ailing her (causing her to be so thin), does not affect the baby.

Sometimes motherhood may force some girls to grow up but then again, in some instances, it may not...Look at Britney Spears!

I was watching on Tyra an interview with Nicole Richie where Tyra was asking what nationality / race she is and Nicole replied that she is a mix of everything but considers herself to be Black.
