Alright, well I'll be having Tal wasting all of his spells on cure light wounds, and the rest of his time performing heal checks, and checking the gate, whilst Un'Rogaar rests (up to 8 hours).
This time he only had the two cure light wounds in memory. I'll change that to 4 next time he renews his spells. So 2d8+18, if you'd care to roll it? Assuming a roll of 28ish, I'll be on 35hp of a 53 maximum. That's about 2/3 of my total. Better make this next one a soft target.
Need to work out a stopping-point in these fights, in case my tactics aren't working, as well. So can we pause the fight after round two if I have been hit twice, or missed twice? Obviously if the extra AC isn't helping then I'm not going to bother with it, considering I am sacrificing 8 damage per hit for it. Probably would have melted that barbarian if I stomped in there with power attack on full. Live and learn.
You get 8 hours of uninterupted rest, when you awake Tal is holding a note, its a letter from the captain, congratulating you and appolagising for being busy with politics. Also Brommeth is digging into a bag of rations, as of late he has not been complianing but entertaining his own thoughts and training alot.
Your next fight dosen't come untill almost sunrise, 16 hours after your last one.
If you don't partake in training you can heal up a second lot.
(It will probably be easier if the healing spell is averaged out instead of rolling so you know how much you get with out having to wait for me to roll.)
The gong rings and the door is unlocked, Do you take your stone axe?
When you open the door the little Homunculus gives you a wide grin.
(I imagine this guy is like a smaller wrinkly malformed gnome, something along the lines of golem from LOTR or those little guys from The vampires assistant.)
You gather he is a magical little creature in control of the gate and your door, he assures the rules are met.
I forgot to mention in each of the platform/rooms overlooking the arena, a well armored soldier stands with a long bow at the ready. 2 at the throne room.
It is still slightly dark, and the torches still lit, no enemy is immediately present.
The crowds mumbles grow with anticipation.
After a short while the crowd begins to boo, then as if by reaction a door opens and an orc comes screamin out, unarmed or armored.
OOC: Bah, I forget I am supposed to be performing. Better act like a giant.
----------------------------------
Un'Rogaar hefts his stone battleaxe, powering towards the Orc at full speed. He takes a mighty overhead swing, roaring as he does.
OOC: I'll be charging, full power attack. +7 to hit, 1d8+14, 20/x3, 9AC. If he's still standing then I'll continue on full power attack, so +5 to hit, 11AC, all other variables as listed.
Told you I could do over 50 damage on a crit.
